Why the hell did they stop making the GM NOVA or as some people know it the
early CORSA. Remember the little square cereal box on wheels. I think it is
a shame that they replaced it with such feminine styling. There arn’t many
Novas left in this world. Our household has 2 and neither of them are very
healthy at the moment. I realize however that there arn’t many so I am going
to try my best to restore it. Don’t GM realize that 2 many Novas are being
wrote off every day?

I am looking to purchase a van and just would like to know
1. Reliability
2. Yearly Maintenance Cost
3. MPG
4. Any thing that might help me make up my mind.

I went through two alternators on my Celebrity.  I finally got a higher
capacity one but still Delco.  That did the trick for me.

Too often we hear about poor service. I started a service comments
message board about BMW service centers and independent shops. You know
something? There are a lot of good, honest, dependable shops out there.
Too bad we sometimes have to find them the hard way. I decided to expand
on what I’ve been doing for BMW owners and carry it to the next level and
include all manufactures. We need a place to voice our opinions.

Please share your comments about your automotive dealer and independent
shops so others may benefit. We especially need to read about good
experiences but also need to be warned about the bad ones. Whether it’s
service or an automobile purchase, we can all use your experience.

For all of us to benefit we need honest opinions. Let’s face it, some
people may have a good experience while someone else may have a horrible
experience from the very same shop.

I want to get more performance out of my 1990 cavalier 2.2 auto.  One
thing is that I would much rather have a 5spd in the car.  How much
cost am I looking at since I would need a cluth pedal, shifter, maybe a
console, etc.? What all would I need? How much of a performance gain
would I be looking at? Also, what about a conversion to the 3.1 v6?

I have a 1994 Grand Prix GTP with the 3.4L engine.  There really isn’t a
HUGE problem shifting, but it seems somewhat rought shifting from 1st to 2nd
gear.  Just to clarify, this is an automatic.  Is there anything that I can
do to remedy this?  I’d like to get this car really running it’s best.
